Our story
Founded in 2013, SAFS Trading (Pty) Ltd began with a vision to simplify and safeguard international trade for businesses navigating complex global markets.
With over a century of combined leadership experience in customs administration, customs enforcement and international logistics, our founders understood the challenges of trade from inside the regulatory system and built SAFS Trading to bridge the gap between compliance and execution.
In 2025, SAFS Trading was formally integrated into SAFS Group, marking a new chapter in our journey. This strategic move positioned the group to expand into a broader logistics ecosystem, while strengthening our international network of partners and enhancing our ability to deliver seamless, compliant solutions across borders.
Today, SAFS Trading stands as the operational cornerstone of SAFS Group: trusted for regulatory expertise, recognised as a SARS Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Level 2, and committed to building long‑term partnerships that support resilient supply chains in South Africa and beyond.
